Following an almost two-hour outage on Friday morning, Instagram users in Pakistan and around the world breathed a sigh of relief as the platform resumed operations.
Users in Pakistan and thousands of others across the world claimed that they couldn't access it at around 1:30am Pakistan time.
A website outage detector called Down Detector confirmed that Instagram was down everywhere.
According to Down Detector, outages have been recorded throughout the world, including Pakistan.
According to data gathered by the tracker, 73 percent of outages were reported by Instagram app users, followed by login in issues for 23 percent of users and issues with uploading videos and photographs for 4 percent of users.
Twitter fell unavailable for nearly an hour on Thursday night in Pakistan and other parts of the world.
