Three terrorists were killed and countless others were hurt in two separate intelligence-based operations that were carried out in the North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to a brief statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday.
According to the ISPR, the initial operation resulted in the capture and injuries of four terrorists, including a high-value terrorist commander.
During the second operation, three terrorists were shot and killed by security personnel. The media wing of the military also reported on the recovery of IEDs, ammo, and weaponry.
All of the terrorists (killed and captured) belonged to the Hafiz Gul Bahadur Group, according to the ISPR.
The statement stated that "the terrorists continued to aggressively engage in terrorist acts against security personnel, extortion for ransom, and murdering of innocent persons."
